    This is silly. All of Buch's problems can be traced back to the ineptitude of the medical staff, who have misdiagnosed every one of his injuries, and he's missed significant time because of it. In this case, it was initially diagnosed a trap problem, he tried to push through it and ended up aggravating what was actually a bursitis issue, which is extremely painful. I wanna see you try and pitch with bursitis. And for the record, JD Drew played banged up an awful lot for the Sox. His problem was that he was ALWAYS hurting somewhere.

    To be fair, he pitched pretty good last year too (Burnett), and that stadium seriously hides his HR proneness. As for Liriano, always had lights-out stuff, but has never been able to harness it consistently. This seems to be "one of those years" for him.

    To be honest i was all for the idea of letting Beltre go and moving Youk to third so they could trade for Gonzalez, and that ended up being a failure of massive proportions. But who knows, maybe not re-signing Beltre was the right call, given how much his production is boosted by Arlington.

    A bit off topic but I'm gonna be in town tomorrow and I may try to scalp tix outside Fenway for the game. Anyone have any tips? I've scalped plenty of tix in my day, just not at Fenway. Looking for advice if there's any particular place that's best to do it. Gonna need 3 or 4.
