He got LeBron James as an investor with the announced intention of securing an NBA franchise. He also has acquired another sports TV network effective in October besides his golfing venture in June. I would say his activities strongly suggest that his main focus is not what Chaim Bloom is doing.

John Henry's primary focus is expanding the Fenway Sports Group's portfolio. How the Red Sox are doing as an individual entity in the group is only material in how that affects his goal of FSG expansion.
