    Speaking of pitching, trading off our best prospects for any stud pitcher is risky. Remember, Kershaw and now Greinke on 15 day DL. Thats why developing home grown talent like Lester is critical. Pretty sad we can't come up with end of the rotation pitching. Remember when Gorman traded Bagwell for Anderson to help the playoff run. That team had no shot at a W.Series Then he states years later that he'd do it again. You have to trust your gut, if your one big move away, do it, but just be sure you really think it will give you that shot.

    Trout in a sox uniform may never happen, but wow, what a impact he'd be. Like having a young Roger Clemens or the Celts getting Durant. Fenway would go nuts. I know pipe dream..

    Exactly, a talent evaluator like Belichik. Our pitching eval. sucks. We do good with positional player development, but what the heck is going on with the pitching.

    The definition of insanity is doing things over and over again expecting different results. I blame management not Clay at this point. We keep this act going, and we won't have to worry about trading any prospects for a top starter or left fielder. Screw it

    Not so sure. Depends how hot Mancada and Ben get at AA . Trout alone is not going to help LA. For sure, for it to happen, it will be all about timing. I know I would have to look at it hard if I was rebuilding...

    Even if we win, 1 out of 4 at home sucks.... against the White Sox. Send half our farm and get Trout, The other half and get another # 1 A few more and get a stud 8th inning pitcher Thats all we need to do If not, keep everyone and in a couple years, we'll have stud backups at all positions...

    Another clutch hin by Hanram right,,, I hope Farrell don't have that bunt on. After he looked like he was going to bunt on the first pitch, the great Butternut should have made sure JBJ was swinging away. They all are sucking right now. Need a shakeup. I'm not a fair weather fan, but the flaws are really starting to show. Start with the coaching... Not good
