  1. Lets go for the nut and include Will Myers in the trade and we toss in some more. Right now, at 20yrs old Kopech has a shot with throwing 105 MPH to be the new #1 prospect. If he has to hone in on another pitch, so what. He's has Texas ties just like Clemens. With the studs we have coming, Mancada, Benny, Devers, Kopech, and the offense we have right now, blue skies...... Come on guys think positive.....
  2. Espinoza loss really hurts, but hopefully it will work out. Michael Kopech is really opening some eyes. Maybe not Epinoza, but I have a good feeling about him...We needed a good pitcher and knew it would hurt. Let's see the whole deal, maybe more players involved...
  3. I remember the hype when Roger was in the minors. When he finally got the call, fans went crazy. One of the biggest call ups in my time..
  4. Problem, the only problem this team has right now is figuring out the 4 and 5 starters. My point is that Shaw is still young and I like his swing. He for sure will be better at first, and if Travis pushes him out next year so be it. Were you all over Bradley also when he was struggling at the plate. Good thing we stuck with him hey. I just find it funny how you want to micro analyze a young player with almost 50 rbi's at the all star break. He's NOT THE PROBLEM RIGHT NOW.
  5. Teheran watch... 6 innings 5 earned runs. Still like to have him, but not for any of my top 4...
  6. Maybe Kopech straight up for Teheren. As far as Owens goes, look at his age, a lot of teams with a good pitching coach would be glad to take him off our hands. Don't devaluate the few stud young pitchers we have like Kopech. I'm not getting screwed over for Teheren who could morph into Joe Kelly.
  7. Shaw is a true first baseman. Shaw has has a sweet swing and will figure out as he matures the lefties. Almost 50 RBI's at the all-star break, you guys gotta be kidding me. A f... platoon player. Give me a break..
  8. For Teharen I might give up Devers, Owens, Swihart, but No way on Espinosa,Kopech, or the others. A guy that can hit 103 mph at 20 yrs old and Espinoza no way. If were talking about a young established number 1 then lets talk about are top prospects. Otherwise Atlanta can go screw...
  9. 1,2,3. was that hard.lol. Please don't rain...
  10. Everyone says Trout in un tradable. I almost have to agree. But everyone has there price. Depending on need. If we owned Trout right now, and also had Betts, Bradley, with Benny coming up, would you trade Trout to get Pedro. Just for fun we'll put Pedro at 28 yrs old. I know this is past, present, but an interesting trade.
  11. What's up Doc. Price is pitching with no balls
  12. Because the guy behind him hits into too many DP's.
  13. Get pede out of the # 2 spot.
  14. These pitchers have to start busting people inside. I don't know what the hell JF is watching.
  15. If EROD and Bucholtz pitched with any results, we would still be in first. Not to mention Kelly. Maybe we get our pitcher and this team has a big second half. If Leon can hit half of what he has been, look out. I can only hope...
  16. DD better pull the trigger fast, the offense is back. Reminds me back in the 70's with the stud lineup. But when they cooled off, they all cooled off, but when they got hot look out.
  17. Like to see someone like Will Myers in left. We need one more masher, just saying
  18. Really starting to like Leon. Seems to hit the ball hard a lot..
  19. Totally agree, Farrell is like a deer in the headlights. You have to adjust here and there. Like the other night when he left Wright in. What the ,,,,,
