    Wow....well could not be a better time for a wake up call. But I think we will here more of the "its only one game stuff".

    What a stiff this guy is. Why couldn't we get him earlier. 9th inning...6 run lead and he give up dinger and worse than that walks the next guy

    And...and....and as bad as all that is, they should not be staring down ball players. Make you call, turn around and go back to wherever the f*** you are positioning yourself as an ump. Don't glare at the player, trying to show him up. You as ump are the star of NOTHING!

    It is not like this team has got to be as disciplined as the Rays but damn close to it. This is not your fathers Red Sox...far from it. They need to go back to where they were at the start of the season and cut this ******** out.

    Hate to beat a dead horse but last night was the first time all season I saw Vic actually trying to hit a HR and tonight we find out about a new HR contest between Vic and Pedey...come on guys that is not what we need from Vic and Pedey is not exactly a pure power hitter either.

    Diamond's location has been pretty darned good ...but not as good as Demps and we are swinging at all kinds of s*** pitches. The guys that come in here with two things, decent location and a rising FB (death for Naps) can make mince meat out of us without looking like they are doing very much.

    Uncanny...just as discussions turn to how do we get Ross more games without burning him out Ross gets hurt...hopefully it is just a bruised knee or something like that

    He dd stop twice...very subtle but Demps started...and then brought the glove and ball back to set.

    Gradually over the course of the last several games our offense seems to have sputtered.

    Boras drinking heavily between clients lost and Ells performance...

    What has been pretty remarkable about Dempster so far this season is his ability to keep the ball down. In his case it is absolutely critical. However he has really been able to do it more than you would have expected. He has not struggled a bit tonight but then again has kept the ball down for three straight innings. If he keeps this up his pitchfx for tonight is going to look ridiculous.

    I have commented that I think of the guys we have in the lineup every day, Vic would be a better lead off hitter than Ells. My druthers would be Vic, Ells, Pedey for as long as Pedey can stay in the 3 hole.

    Until Webster grows a bit as a pitcher he may have great stuff compared to some of our other hurlers but he is not the third best pitcher. And The only way Felix can do long relief is with plenty of prep on the front end and plenty of rest on the back end. In other words, relief stints are going to have to be handled almost like starts.
