    I was really sweating that last game in the Trop out. But while there is no way I wanted to see that series go 5, I felt like we would pull out a game 5 up here if we had to play one with the Rays. I think that means we would not have had Lester for game 1 of the league champ series though.

    Hopefully Farrell will not forget XB's number now that he finally used him. Drew will start games against RH pitchers but Farrell has got to realize that he does have a legit tool in XB. Give me the A's over the Tigers. I think the Tigers would be a tougher team to play even with Cabrera's issues and the closing problem in Detroit. If Lester can be a monster again in upcoming game one, that would be huge whether the opponent is Detroit or Oakland. Game 1 is really meaningful in these 5 and 7 game series. I wonder if there is a way we can get Eck and Don into these games instead of the turds we have been getting.

    Trying to think who has stood that much on top of the plate before. Not sure I can think of anybody. It really stands out when Pedey comes up right after cause he is like just the opposite and it makes Pedey look like he is batting from the on deck circle.
