    That might actually be the worst base running play of the year...makes some of Benis' early efforts pale by comparison. I honestly can't think of one worse and I have lived through all of them.

    Devers just made Lin look like a base running genius by comparison. We don't even get a run out of that. Nicely done Rafi.

    That is such a hard play to make....that might be a once in twenty-five efforts play around the league. Pillar can make it. Keirmaier can. I am not sure another AL CFer makes that play more than once in twenty five tries.

I just hope he is not worse than sore.

    Really hoping Holt is just a deep bruise. Even that will still have him out for a week because of where it is.

    Boyd has got our RHers thinking about that pitch in on the hands now and he is eating them up on the outer half. Our LH hitters are just mystified.

    Even worrying about JD pulling a Bump from the Natural in RF, I can see why Cora kept JBJ out of this game. JBJ would not hit this guy if he took a front door up to the plate with him.

    All of my defending of Price on that throw aside, this entire situation was made by.....................Price! I should add that the ball that Price threw that got hit out to Beni was a total POS pitch. Should have been crushed for a hit.

    For f*** sake ....really nice throw Beni...he is usually much better at throwing ...actually throws better than he picks it. I really want to hand Price his head for that throw...but I can't. You have to guess as the fielder when to stop running at the runner, set your feet and throw.

    Price may have to partially empty the tank here, more than he would normally in the 4th inning

    I swear to God Price...maybe if you positioned yourself to field you would have had that.

    We have done better against some LH pitchers. But if its a guy that can get in on the hands against our RH hitters and do the usual LHer thing against our LH hitters, we are still in trouble against LH pitchers. Even JD can struggle a bit against a guy that can get in on his hands. Mookie is the only RH hitter we have that can beat that sort of pitch consistently from a LH pitcher.

    Looked worse on replay. Don't want to see ANY more of those in the regular season.

    Nice play by JD. But he is like a lumbering elephant out there. Wall-JD-Shoulder. Don't need to see much of that. I would actually rather the ball drop in playing the chump Tigers.
