    Do you know one way to tell when a play is just baseball? What do you think this crowd of web site brain surgeons would have been posting if Pillar simply pulled up on a ball that dropped and gracefully tossed the ball to 3rd base for the out on Lin. What the heck do you think this web site would have been posting?

    He just hurt himself making that play. Bad read...I can take that one. Stupid baseball play.... Sorry NOT. Rookie play...nope can't take that one either. Its just baseball. Every once and while, like maybe once a game at least, you get plays that are just baseball. Did you see that flip throw from Pillar? Do you realize how close Pillar has to be to just flip it like that? Do you actually think a third of the way down the line would have made for a different outcome? A third of the way down the line and Pillar is rolling the ball to 3rd to get Lin out if that ball drops. ITS JUST BASEBALL.

    You guys want Lin to bank on Pillar making a play he just hurt himself making. Good grief.

    Even playing that half way if Pillar keeps his feet and that ball drops, Lin is out at 3rd by a mile. Lin had no choice with Mookie coming from First and Holt running to 1st. Just baseball.

    Well I think Lin was stuck. There was a man on 1st right. So if the ball drops where is Mookie supposed to go with Holt running to 1st.

    The thing you can't prove in replay and you certainly can't prove it to me is did Holt simply hook the runners ankle and just push a bit with the glove. How is that an out. In fact its not an out if the fielder does that. To what extent can replay pick that up? I would say in many cases and in particular that one NOT AT ALL!

    Yea that has been the need from day 1 and we have been saying DD is going to find somebody, DD is going to find somebody. So get somebody DD.

    Well, we had to lose something and this game has had that written all over it from the start. Could have pulled the plane up out of its nosedive a few times and the pilot just would not cooperate. Flying right into the mountainside on this one I fear.

    What the heck is going on with Kelly lately. You know we are doing something wrong playing the Jays when the only guy you really have to worry about in tonight's lineup, Smoak seems to be coming up every time with runners on.

    Splinter has been taken advantage of too many times. He feels violated. I don't blame him one bit. The life of a red sox fan on the endless hunt for a bullpen guy.

    If you just forget the ML unis and watch how so many of these teams play, how the players play, you really can have a lotta' fun watching this year. Besides the fun of having one of the few AL teams that matters..that is surely fun. But watching the keystone kops routine almost every night is pitiful and embarrassing but once you get past that, sort of fun.

    f***ing JBJ got greedy and got what he got. OB....when he knows something about baseball eck will probably fall off his chair and Psycho will have a heart attack. OB: "Jackie's good friend Mookie got a grand slam last night". Like its magic and it just rubs off one player to the next. JBJ needed to do what JBJ has been doing.

    Really nice AB nunny. I am convinced that nunny is convinced that every pitcher that comes into a game is going to throw a total crap 1st pitch to him because he absolutely swings at the first thing he sees from a guy coming in from the pen.

    Rick actually did look a little green around the gills. But you think they would notice that. If he is just ill I will take that over just about anything else I can think of. Though, its when you really are too weak to play that you end up hurting something.

    What the f*** was that? Pitch was a foot outside and the ump was looking right down the black and called it a strike!

    I totally believe we will win this game. After all, these are the Blue Jays. I am more worried that this is going to turn into Pomeranz II where we find out nothing and they keep saying everything is fine when its not fine.
