  1. That was a shame for JBJ. He tried to go oppo the whole AB which is exactly what he should do. Can't take a pitch that close on strike 3
  2. Didi just eats those pitches up. Can't miss in there. DJ has got to start games better than he has even as a 5th starter. He absolutely did not need that Holt bobble.
  3. Wish we could bunt. Don't care how pissed the fat f*** gets. Would bunt him into the ground. Make them take him off on a stretcher.
  4. If we are lucky that is going to end up being a massive stinger for X. That looked like it was off the knuckles and that big bone on the wrist which can feel like you would like somebody to cut the hand off for about a minute...just take the damned thing off if its going to feel like this.
  5. Any idea where the plate is tonight because I have no idea. Is it floating around like a magic carpet?
  6. Maybe its Mitch's knee but I don't know why his back looks stiff as a board if its the knee. He can't move. Its like the bat is swinging around his torso which is no way to hit.
  7. I am wondering why Mitch is in this lineup tonight. His back looks like s*** when he swings.
  8. So this will be interesting to watch. You guys might remember that about a month or so ago, Pom had a start, was mucking about at 88 and it looked like Lavanche must have told him on the bench he had to try and show he could get the FB up into the 90's. He threw a few at 92 and promptly went to the DL right after that start. So here he has muscled it up again. Lets see what happens now.
  9. I am not defending Pom..whats there to defend. But you can see him struggling to stay on the mound when he knows he just does not have it. Not an enviable position to be in.
  10. Whatever happens, Pom is done here. This is his last year under contract. Think the Sox are going to give him money pitching like this?
  11. Nice knowing ya' pom
  12. Ian Kinsler huh......sigh
  13. If Pom can't get his FB up into the 90's it will be time to change his nickname from Big Smooth to Big Slooooooooooooo. Not enough to get the rotations back up on his Curve and it does not even make sense that he worked on his Curve while still having a sub 90 FB.
  14. You miss a pitch as good as what Beni got for strike 2, you don't deserve to come back from that.
  15. Ending it here would be nice
  16. Good pitch much to my surprise
  17. They are all down there barkin'. This guy on the mound now looks like he will be howlin' to come out.
  18. Christ I was just picking myself up off the floor from Youk's Lester comment and you have to knock me back down there again.
  19. For all the runs we score, if the RH hitting corp gets shut down we are really a pretty tame offense.
  20. Kapler is making the change because that submarine style does nothing to LH hitters. Had to get that guy outta' there.
  21. Psycho oblivious again. Kapler is not trying to turn Swi around. He has called for the RH pitcher.
  22. Interestingly while Nunny is only a passible 3rd baseman he is clearly a better 3rd baseman than Devers. Makes for an interesting dynamic going into the end of the year if they don't get Beltre.
  23. Kid was not going to show XB 99 unless he had him at 2 strikes. That is why hitting a baseball is such a ridiculously hard thing to do. Nobody gives you break.
  24. That is a heck of a play by Holt
  25. I really wonder if the launch angle swing has done a lot to make the Change such an effective pitch. Now they are throwing it all over the place. LHers never used to throw Changes to LH batters and now even that is a common occurrence.
