I don't think Scutaro is an issue. According to UZR, his defense is slightly above average and believe it or not his .714 OPS is also above average (.687) for a shortstop this year. We don't need an All-Star at every position.

When Beckett, Lester and Buchholz are healthy, Jiminez would be our 4th starter. It's not worth giving up all of our remaining farm system for a 4th starter who might get a start or two in the playoffs.

BostonSouth, there's two possibilities here. Either you're a Yankees fan who only comes here to start stuff or you're a Red Sox fan who hates it here yet has such a sad, depressing life that they continually come here anyways. It's your choice which you want to pass yourself off as.
