  1. Look on the bright side, if we're gonna lose at least we're doing it in 2 hours instead of 4.
  2. How many of our first 12 games did you watch?
  3. Damn. When I saw a Sergio was coming in at first I got exciting thinking it was Mitre.
  4. I'm confused, I thought we had 3 more outs to work with.
  5. http://www.brooksbaseball.net/pfxVB/location.php?pitchSel=123801&game=gid_2011_07_29_bosmlb_chamlb_1/&batterX=&innings=yyyyyyyyy&sp_type=1&s_type= I count 9 pitches that were on or onside the lines called balls and 5 pitches that aren't in contact with the lines or are outside them called stries.
  6. We only scored 7 runs a game while Ortiz was serving his suspension. We usually score 10.
  7. Sutton. Pretty much a wash.
  8. Great start by Wakefield. He went 7 innings, 3 H, 3 ER, 5 K and didn't get any help from he umpire.
  9. That will continue to happen if Lackey, Wakefield and Miller continue to make most of our starts.
  10. It's probably a tiny sample size. Usually Wakefield blows up long before that.
  11. Ozzie sacrificed his first born. At least that sounds like something he'd do.
  12. It may be a tie game, but our run was a lot sexier.
  13. O's up 3-0, threatening for more.
  14. According to Pitchfx, DiMuro has called 7 of Floyd's pitches that were clearly balls as strikes. He's also called 4 pitches by Floyd balls that were clearly strikes. He's called 5 pitches by Wakefield that were clearly balls as strikes and he's called 6 pitches by Wakefield that were clearly strikes as balls. If he's favoring anyone, it's Chicago.
  15. That wasn't even close to being a strike. http://www.brooksbaseball.net/pfxVB/location.php?pitchSel=425856&game=gid_2011_07_29_bosmlb_chamlb_1/&batterX=40&innings=yyyyyyyyy&sp_type=1&s_type=3
  16. It could be worse, he was in the .260's when the month began.
