It's possible, but like I pointed out yesterday his major league high LD%, his BABIP that's 0.75 points higher than his expected BABIP and his HR/FB% which is half his career average all suggest that he's been one of the luckiest pitchers in baseball.

I don't think Bartolo Colon is going to slow down any time soon. All his peripherals are solid. But anyone who thinks Freddy Garcia (4.12 xFIP), Burnett (5.95 ERA post-ASG last year and 4.83 ERA post-ASG this year) and Phil Hughes (no explanation needed) are better than anyone else's 3, 4 and 5 starters needs to put their pom poms back in their closet.

Did you see how fast Britton ran down the steps? When he got lit up at Fenway he was walking really slowly and I began a standing ovation for him. Guess he didn't want a repeat.

WTF was that? AJ literally just tried to "frame" that pitch out as a strike by moving the glove by a foot towards home plate.

Britton was on a roll with an ERA below 3.50 before he faced us earlier this month and we hung an 8 spot on him in two thirds of an inning.

I would like another arm as well. Bedard was wild as hell his last time out but his stuff was good and he looked healthy. I said the other day that he's probably the best bet for us considering need vs. price.
