It's 4 OK, I'm sure we aren't done hearing about deals though. Usually news comes out after the deadline and technically teams could still be talking and the commissioner will look the other way if they wrap it up soon.

If that's the case, I'm glad he said so. I'd much rather us not give up prospects and get a different pitcher than acquire the next Kevin Brown.

Wandy Rodriguez is the only other pitcher on the market I would rather have but the Astros always ask unreasonable prices for their players.

You are absolutely correct. Both Lars and Navarro are/were members of our 40 man roster. I imagine trading them was at least in part influenced by the 40-man roster crunch we were rumored to have.
