With the Astros moving to the AL West, 2013 creates a very interesting year for MLB. They will now have at least 1 interleague game per day, and all 6 divisions have 5 teams for the first time. For the Sox, they have a very widespread schedule. They start next season where they end this season, at Yankee Stadium, and continue with a series on the road against the Blue Jays before coming home to play the O's and 4 on Patriot's Day Weekend with the Rays, before playing the Guardians on the road, and coming home for a 10 game home stand with 3 against the Royals and A's, and then 4 with the Astros.
Here is the list of NL Parks that the Sox go to in 2013:
Phillies
Giants
Dodgers
Rockies
Sox also play Phillies and Rockies plus Padres and Diamondbacks at home.
Sox also play 19 games against division rivals. This means:
10 in New York, 9 at home
9 in Toronto, 10 at home
9 in Tampa, 10 at home
10 in Baltimore, 9 at home.
Looks tough.
