  1. What a great game. I missed it because I was sick so I crashed early but then some freshman set off the fire alarm in my building at like 10:45. So I could've caught the end of it, but like I said, I was out of it. We just need Sale back and we'll be fine.
  2. Glad to say that for once, I'm not one of them
  3. Actually, it would be 5 of 7.
  4. One day I want to live in Houston. Of course, I'll still root for the Red Sox. Win. Dance. Repeat. x4
  5. I was being sarcastic if you guys couldn't tell. I love Bogaerts. He's a perfect player in this era of a new, redefined shortstop. If his defense could improve a little bit, he can really be one of the better SS we've ever had.
  6. I don't know, I would still rather have Lindor.
  7. Like Max said there are too many to name. I can go through every month and find 1-2 games that had a signature moment. The game I went to, the first game of the year against the Yankees was a good one as well. It was 38 degrees, Sale vs Severino, the night before the brawl, and the Yankees couldn't play defense, and Mookie made them pay with a grand slam in a 14-1 win. That launched our season if you ask me. Sure, we were 8-1 before that, but we had only played the Rays and Marlins. That game showed me we were ready to go.
  8. Um, it's not that I'm not starting my active players, it's that I don't have very many left.
  9. Despite having my worst team that I've ever had, I've managed to put myself in position. My offense has been terribly inconsistent, and my pitching is subpar. Haven't had a closer for most of the season. They kept getting traded away.
  10. I'm glad I caught the last bit of that game. Wow. I know I'm ready for October.
  11. Newcomb shut us down earlier this season. But, he never got to face Porcello. Win. Dance. Repeat. x2
  12. Thanks for sharing that with us. We're here for you when you get back. Deepest condolences.
  13. Our pitcher is struggling with command and they can't do s***.
  14. If we're gonna have another lame September and limp into the postseason again, I won't be able to take this
  15. I hate Notre Dame, but they're due for something good to happen. I have a soft spot for Michigan. That Miami-LSU game last night was brutal. I didn't really want to see either team lose because they both needed to get off to a good start, but boy did LSU look good. After that pounding that my boys took on Thursday night to one of the best QBs in the country (McKenzie Milton), there's no rest for the weary. How does a cross country flight to face another ranked team sound? Boise State is up next, and their QB is just as good, and he's the son of former Redskins QB Mark Rypien.
  16. RHP Nathan Eovaldi (5-6, 4.15) vs Michael Kopech (1-0, 1.13) I'm looking forward to watching this kid pitch, but at the end of the day, we gotta keep our priorities straight. Win. Dance. Repeat. x4 It's the first Friday night of the school year and it's sorority recruiting season. Extra blowjo tonight.
  17. Most people would argue that I'm not having fun. My dream weekend this time of year is staying in on Saturday night and watching college football while I do homework.
  18. I like this move for the Yankees
  19. Yeah, I gotcha. Other people still think I'm crazy though and it really sucks sometimes
  20. Get your facts straight. It was 28-10. And shouldn't all of you guys know that when you love a team, their performance really doesn't matter that much when you're exposed to them everyday? Plus, I've gotten to know a bunch of them. They're all great guys. And, I was getting paid.
  21. Nice to see a great comeback. This team is a lot like me in the sense that they're all fight and no quit. It's the only way to live your life.
  22. RHP Rick Porcello (15-7) vs RHP Lucas Giolito (10-9, 5.85) Between classes and the first UConn football game of the season (which I'll be on the sideline for), this will have to be made now. It's a very special day for me. Hopefully the Sox won't ruin it. Win. Dance. Repeat. x3
  23. I came to the same realization in the bottom of the 8th last night. At that point I was assured we would win. I turned it off after the top of the 9th to go to bed knowing we would be fine.
  24. RHP Trevor Richards (3-7, 4.23) vs LHP David Price (14-6, 3.50) It's been awhile since I've said that I feel good about our chances when Price starts, but after that last outing, how couldn't you be excited? Good vibes. Fry the fish. Win. Dance. Repeat. x2 Note the earlier start time (6:35). It's a 30 min jump start on the flight to Chi-Town
  25. Yeah. If Realmuto handled that ball, it would have been a bang bang play. Nunez still probably would've been out, but it was definitely closer than it should of been. Might have caused the throw to be rushed, explaining why it was in the dirt.
