I got some armor after 2016. Watching Big Papi walk off for the last time after getting swept was rough for me, since he was the last player on the team that had been around since before I could recall being a fan.

RHP Masahiro Tanaka vs LHP David Price It would feel so nice to go up 2-0, but just take this one pitch at a time, one batter at a time, one inning at a time. As we learned, the blowjo might sound menacing, but it does not result in any blowing by our side. It comes close, but that just makes for good TV. Win. Advance. Repeat. x2

To me, this game felt different. It never felt like we were going to blow it. There have been games this year where the pen has blown it and you knew it was inevitable. Not last night. I never doubted that game last night.
