We were not. We just played them last year. I went to one of those games. I was sitting down the RF line and Cody Bellinger hit an absolute moonshot that was still rising when it went past us, and we were sitting about even with the Pesky Pole! I also got to see AJ Pollock play in person for the first time. He went to my HS.
MLB Interleague has a 3 year cycle. Each year you play an entire division from the other league, as well as a home and home your designated interleague rival. So, the Mets play the Yankees, Cubs and White Sox, Dodgers and Angels, A's and Giants, and so on. Ours has alternated between the Phillies and Braves, since we don't technically have an NL team close enough to us to really consider a rival. Last year we played the NL West, with a home and home against the Phillies. This year, we would have played the NL Central, and next year, we will play the NL East. We'll have to wait until 2022 to play the Dodgers again, and who knows what either team will look like at that point
