  1. I wouldn't mind that
  2. I didn't. I skipped both of my proms
  3. I don't agree with that
  4. I don't know what bothers me. During this entire period of quarantine and being at home, I haven't missed sports at all, and to be honest, have lost interest in a lot of them, like baseball and basketball. The only sports I want to come back are golf and football. That probably has something to do with it
  5. I get that. I'm just personally not interested in baseball right now. Why try to rush it back with a new structure that is a shell of how the game should be played? I think it would be better to not play at all than to play with truncated rules/schedules. But that's just my opinion
  6. It's a shame it's too late to trade Pedroia
  7. My favorite perk of having the DH in the AL
  8. I've been a proponent of no baseball in 2020 since day 1. Don't ruin the game; just don't play. Save the integrity
  9. Wow sorry to piss you off I don't think missing half the season is considered being healthy, especially when your performance coming back from TJS is a wild card
  10. Um no. The earliest we get Sale back will probably be next June
  11. The Norwich Sea Unicorns are going to get axed before they even play a game
  12. The former coach at my HS, who cut me my freshman year and changed my life by doing so, made an appearance on The Last Dance last night
  13. I'm in the same boat. For the last two months, I haven't given a damn about sports. Re-runs don't interest me, and I'm in no hurry to get them back
  14. I agree. Potential to be a Wild Card team this year if they stay healthy. Still think they are a WR short, but they did have a very good draft
  15. Russell was also a coach at the same time as some of those titles
  16. That's why I reminded everybody
  17. I'm still mad at y'all for the AFC Championship game that year. You couldn't let the Jets have just a little bit of fun?
  18. Too many people forget about Bill Russell in the NBA GOAT debate. Not saying he's #1, but he's often overlooked
  19. I think it's good not great but I understand the fascination. I've never been a huge NBA fan, and since I didn't live through Jordan's career, it's just not that gripping to me. I know a lot of people that are so into it. It is well made, I'll give them that
  20. Game 4 of the ALCS in 2004 was on ESPN the other night, and FS1 has been showing some of them too
  21. True, but New England sports fans are notoriously brutal, and although the Giants were in a Super Bowl in 2000, they weren't overly great again until 2007, while the Pats were winning championships. And since 2011? They've sucked
  22. Now that the Patriots are presumably going to decline over time, I'd be interested to see how many of those people go back to the Giants, assuming the Giants can get good again. I feel like many of those old Giants fans became Patriots fans just because they started winning Super Bowls. Now that the dynasty may be over, let;s see how many leave the bandwagon
  23. Not a weird mix at all! Growing up in CT, this is an everyday occurrence for us, since we're straddling the line of Boston and New York. I know plenty of Red Sox and Giants fans, and just as many Yankees and Patriots fans. We all learn to co-exist. Personally, I'm a Red Sox and Jets/Patriots fan. I also watch the Giants when they're on because growing up, my dad and I watched all 3 teams since they're on TV every week in CT. Living here, it's easy to have more than one favorite team. The rest of the world thinks I'm super weird, but it's normal here
