I remember. I think Ortiz is a great guy, and if he accepts a decent contract, he'll be ok. Who really worries me is Youk. He is not in shape and he will go to surgery. I'm not sure if we gonna see again the great Youk we used to see.

The first question should be how much money will be available before the luxury tax cap? 25-30 MUSD? And are they willing/expecting to overpass it? I don't think so. Seems like our arcs this time will be devastated (Thanks Theo) and we won't have room in order to make at least the needed moves (SP,Closer, Pitching-depth, etc.) next season, so... If we can sign a guy like Ortiz for a decent contract (6-7 MUSD/ year) I would do it in a heartbeat.

If he goes to cub land Good for him and for us, but please go with Lackey, D-K, Jenks and if you rush me with CC. These guys will cost us around 50 MUSD next season. Like SCM said once, He will leave this team clogged.

They should try to trade him even for peanuts and eat the 80% of his contract or something around, but please get rid of him. Nobody would even care whether he wins the CY next year, trust me. His karma is just not adequate for this team.

I'm not sure who had the idea to put Sweet Caroline, but this is absolutely not Mr. Neil Diamond's fault . I like Neil Diamond's work, he has a great voice, hehehehe anyway... IMO, The thing is that you shouldn't be that happy while your team is falling in pieces, that's the point and make sense. Nevertheless, I think some people goes to the stadium in order to spend some fun time with their families and forget real life for a while. I don't see anything wrong on that. Some fans take this team very seriously and as a part of their daily life(maybe like some of us) and some not that much, I don't have a problem with that either. Are they pink hats?, which fan is better? Nobody can't measure and judge that. Each fan expresses his/her sympathy in so many different ways, so... Anyway... put whatever song or performance you want, that's not the issue IMO. Our issues go beyond Sweet Caroline, that's for damn sure my friends.

LOL at Drew and Lackey comment. 14 f***ing million dollars huh! Wow! ... You can find out more discipline in a table dance. This club is a complete joke. Who in the hell is commanding this team? Who?... Some of them are not players but divas. We need a coach and a GM with strong hand who applies Giuliani's zero-tolerance.

I wonder, Who is their boss?

Things change. And mostly in this globalized world. These days everything change even more rapidly than before. Baseball business is not immune. If you can't realize that, sorry but I don't know In which world you live. Those who adapt better to changing environments, prevail, otherwise die. As simple as that. Our team has changed and the coach has to take the best juice of his players, and make them execute. Tito hasn't done that lately. Stop excuses, please. Tito has showed lately a lack of coaching and discipline in this team. As I said, Theo is the main responsible, but Tito is the second in command in order to charge the failing load. This team won't improve if they don't recognize their issues and take accountability of their KPIs, god or bad.

The Brew are the only team that could make some damage to Philli in the NL

Theo: "I'm the general manager, so I take more responsibility than anybody".

    it's time for fresh blood.

Yup. That's why I said his head is jeopardy.. IMO his bosses should run an auditory with a top firm (Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, etc.) and weight the damage in order to take decisions. Running an Outside-In analysis the numbers are not encouraging for him the last three years. We'll see.
