If Ells gets the MVP, You wouldn't need more "++++" in the trade. If they want Ells plus our top prospects, I would go to another direction. iMO Seattle is not looking for a MVP. Ells is not the piece they would trade for Felix. They would like several top prospects. And IMO we don't have the pieces.
On the other hand, SF is more likely to deal with. But I'm not that convinced about Lincecum.
Ells has played like a MVP caliber, BUT this is his first year playing that way. Sure, seems like the kid has the talent and has a promising future, but IMO he is replaceable, if you put on the table an elite caliber pitcher like Felix. But as I said, if Crawford doesn't comeback (unlikely) I won't trade him. Otherwise in a heartbeat. (The problem is that I'm not that confident about CC, but that's another issue )
