  1. Theo seems to me a calm guy who always showed respect for the players and the staff that surrounded him. He always pointed good things about on his players and coaches. I don't remember him pointing something bad on somebody. Even on Lackey. He used to manage the situations properly, specially in bad times. On the other hand, Zambrano has problems with his temper. He just can't control it. He goes beyond from what I have ever seen in a player. Something is for, will be interesting if Theo can tame this 'Toro'.
  2. Good point. Nevertheless and beyond the mind-game, I don't see a team trading something for Zambrano even if he goes for free to X team. IMO The only manager who could handle Zambrano's temper is Ozzzy Guillen. In fact, I don't remember where I heard that Ozzy considered that "El Toro" could be a good add for Florida.
  3. If I were Theo I wouldn't bring back Zambrano, no way... Unless he has a trade prepared for him or something. From what I read, Zambrano is a cancer in the cubbie locker room .
  4. Hell, this movie should be called "The pessimist 3-Head Monster vs Sugarcoaters legion in Theo's fantasy land part 1" or something hahahaha
  5. Plus, only 20 M in the pocket, thanks to our last GM or should I say LL?
  6. This. I think this is true. He is the luxury LL's assistant. Far to be a decision maker. As you said, his duties are likely restricted.
  7. Ask Andrew Friedman what would he do with those tons of money in TB.
  8. After reading all the stuff published on internet, I'm lost, seriously!; I have simply no a remote idea, what the hell are the duties of Ben Cherigton as GM...
  9. Still November, how you dare?..
  10. Why in the hell I'm always agree with you? I wonder whether LL went that way with Theo. If yes, I take out all my accusations made on him and I would tax 'em on LL.
  11. http://espn.go.com/boston/mlb/story/_/id/7248252/ben-cherington-seemingly-overruled-dale-sveum Is the master of puppets doing his will again?
  12. Really?, How much? wow!... That was quick. Didn't see that coming that quick. Don worry guys, still November. Bautista and Papi?... Sounds explosive.
  13. Oh! Benny boy ... You better have figured out a strategy/plan to fill what we really need. Our priorities.
  14. After all this "complex" diligence and names, Valantine? Really?
  15. Beyond E1's example (sounds weird ) ... We can affirm this: When you: I) Plan (real world) -> Good Result (real world) => Good Plan (real world) Ideal/Accurate II) Plan (real world) -> Bad Result (real world) => Good Plan (fantasy world) Wish/Hope/Frustration III) Plan (real world) -> Bad Result (real world) => Bad Plan (real world) Cruel/Cold Sounds obvious, but sometimes we forget. You take accountability in both Scenarios I and III. Sometimes we discuss in different worlds, that's for sure
