Exactly. Although I've been pointing at Theo's head, I like how he responds. He takes accountability. He says, "no excuses". This is a good start. Realize and recognize that tons of things haven't worked. When he says "we'll have to take a close look at everything that's not right, we have to fix, and that includes the whole organization" he puts his head in the table as well. We'll see how it ends.

That's exactly what we have been talking about. IMO The 2 WS already won 4 and 7 years ago don't guarantee him a lifetime job as a GM of this organization. As I said, we look at tendencies and we point at the facts, and they at history. BTW I won't find another team

I think that our argument has been constantly clear about this issue through several threads. Our time frame has been the last 3 years. IMO enough period of time in order to make another check point. If we take that period of time, almost all the good things that you enlisted would vanish and only the cons. list would appear, and that, is the core of our argument. I'm not taking away his credit, as I said, he is arguably a good manager and has achieved important things in Boston and I'm grateful for the 2 WS but we can't live forever in the past. Neither organization does. We have been saying as well that if we don't make POs or if we play like September (likely) once there, we would have seen enough in order to make a diligence and bring someone else. I think that A700 and I have tried to be objective and consistent about this, considering our premises plenty discussed. Bottom line. The period of time is what make us see different the whole thing in order to emit our opinions. We take the last three years and you guys the last ten, that's all. We are focus in the tendency and you in the history, IMO.

Wowowowowo... E1. Theo Epstain is not the Boston Red Sox. He is an employee. I have been pointing at him since his poor management last years. I care about this team as you and all here do. IMO he would be the main responsible (not the only but the main) if we collapse. I say this clear: He should charge the main load. This ain't over. As I been saying, we have to wait and see how it ends in order to deliberate. In your opinion which GM has run better his team last three/four years according with the resources available, Epstein or Friedman? That's all I was pointing at. Since when we can't point at an employee of this team who is not performing for what is paid for?. Since I care and root for this team, I point the good and the bad at 'em. There's nothing wrong. A fan of any team at any sport does. If our GM is not longer capable to deliver results, I will point at him, whoever is the name. It's good to be optimistic. In fact, I want/desire/wish that we win tomorrow and we make a great paper if we make the POs. But we have to face true and try to be objectives as well, and notice that the odds are not in our side these days. That's all. I have tried to be objective according to my ideas. So... I respect your opinion about this issue (GM thing), but I don't share it. In the end this is all about; share our ideas and enlarge our criteria.
