This deal was straight up, wasn't it?. IMO they needed pitching, pitching, pitching, maybe more than us. They do not need more bats. Now, they are a quite much balanced team. We? I wouldn't call that way thus far. They got Martin. Montero would have taken a back up role next year. Will they regret about this in the future? As I said, Maybe yes, maybe no, regardless they always have a broad wallet.

They must win every season. They usually put an elite team every season. With these moves (Kuroda and Pineda), today, they are the #1 candidate to win the ALE. Is he Cano caliber bat? Maybe yes, maybe no. He is still a promise. A great one BTW, but a promise. I'm not that surprised about this. I would give up Lavarnway or Kalish for Pineda in a heartbeat.

I said this early. BV could help us a lot in this regard. He needs to change the chip to the players. The Players need to leave behind bad practices and attitudes. If we don't bring the pitcher(s), this factor can play to our favor or against us, again.

The idea is go to Boston in July and in August to Napa. Is it a good month to go to Napa and taste wine? BTW Cozumel is awesome, I have some friends in Quintanarro (Cancun, Cozumel, Chetumal, etc.)

My bad Pumpsie! I meant you. I really appreciate your hospitality. You are very kind . I'll let you know when We go. We have planned this trip for years, but for different reasons we haven't gone. Hopefully this is the year. BTW you are very welcome as well to my home in Monterrey, Mex. EDIT. Fred could join us, LA is not that far, is it?

Nahhh UN?. You could think that I'm against Theo or that I hate him, I don't. I have given him credit for what he achieved but IMO, It was time to move on, look at the recent years. The last collapse was only the cherry on the cake. I would have liked Friedman as GM. IMO he has been the best in that department in the recent years. IMO He could have given you the best of both worlds, good farm, good trades/FA signings. Hopefully Ben shows great skills as GM. We'll see.
