    Dave Drombrosky is a winner man. All his teams were always contenders. Happy for him and the Phillies who have a hell of an offense.

    Spending hasn't been an issue for JH since he has been there, the thing is spending when it make sense. Next year will make sense if they think they can win it all in the next 3 years.

    Hill's attitude is a reflection of the locker-room. The locker room is an intangible asset in a team. Ask Bobby Valentine. Great locker rooms win WS and at times with not necessary very talented teams. The Sox have arguably a couple of examples. Also, this team plays brain dead baseball in a regular basis. That's on Cora. It's unacceptable. And yeah, the BP is atrocious. That's on Bloom.

    I just added further information to the fact that he was horrible under that contract. There's a reason he had to retire while he was still kind of young. He sucked. Regarding his tenure in Det, He was nothing close to good. 3 of those 6 years were bad (50 %). 2 mediocre, and 1 just good. Porcello was a horrible pitcher but who won a CY. Pretty rare I would say. One of a kind if you ask me. He had 7 bad years out of 12 in his career and some were really really bad.

    Ort knows that he has to pitch like surgeon, his days in the big leagues are counted. He can breath one more day at least after this inning.

    Not sure what Hill is complaining about. He created this disaster. Cora lost the locker-room weeks ago.

    Either way Hill earned 4 runs in 4 IPs. This team needs that the season ends already.

    LOL you are trying to throw s*** to wall expecting some stick. It won't happen mate. A 4.65 & 5.52 ERA are horrible ERAs. It represents 50% of his tenure under that contract. Also a 4.28 is an ERA of a No. 4 pitcher. Mediocre. If you want to pay 20 M/Y for those ERAs, be my guest, but nobody would, even in today's market. His contract was a mistake from day 1. Now, If you add his 2015 numbers, his tenure in Boston is lamentable. .... and if you add his final days with the NYM, you just confirm the kind of pitcher he was. HORRIBLE.
