    I do not get it. 5 M is the max without going over the cap and then you supposedly receive 3.5 M from Cubs and pay that money to Oswalt and then you go over it?, doesn't make sense. Besides.. Are 3.5 M the show stopper? Really? I don't think so... Plus some already suggested that they already put 5 M plus incentives (probably those 3 M) on the table for Oswalt.

    If they wanted stay under the cap, still they could release Ortiz and bring a SP. Apparently, they chose the opposite strategy (keep Ortiz). We'll see if it work it out.

    Bingo. I have said this over and over again. Yes, This ain't over but, If we go like this and over the cap, will be unacceptable. Frankly, I do not expect that much for Theo, besides, Ben just said on Weei that Theo's comp. is not a priority.

    Well, you won't see Jenks, D-K, Papi (likely), and probably several of those dumpster diving signings, regardless you will have more flexibility in your payroll to play with (LT).

    Well, we have not won a year-series vs TB in 4-5 years or something, with arguably better teams, and Right now NY is above us IMO.

    Agree. Hell, the more I try to analyse the more I have question marks about this team and I wonder what the hell are our FO's plans. Our team doesn't see solid thus far.     Almost everybody in this board agrees with this, the problem is that our FO seems that doesn't see this way. They feel comfortable with our current "rotation?" and "depth".
