For the record, Nobody is ripping the FO, we are just emitting opinions vs probable scenarios. That's all. As I said I need to see the offseason ended up in order to emit my final opinion.

I'd prefer give him a shot or give him the opportunity to share the load with someone but you would have brought the SP.

For the record, I like Ortiz, he will produce, but our needs are pretty clear in our pitching. We have discussed this over and over again. 1. If the strategy is stay under the cap, and we go like this (without Scutaro and without the SP) Ortiz's arbitration is unacceptable. 2. If we were going to end up over the cap anyway (beyond Ortiz' contract), why did we give up Scutaro. Sure, I need to see how this ends in order to emit a more accurate opinion.

I've been asking how is Oswalt's health these days, and nobody has answered. I'm concerned about this issue. Wandy's numbers are solid and he is healthy, isn't he?

Out There are 4 possibilities: 1.- As Elk said, they have a pre-agreement with Oswalt (or similar) and stay under the cap :thumbsup: 2.- Make room to sign Ortiz and stay under the cap :thumbdown 3.- We are already over the cap and we go like this. :thumbdown 4.- They are already over the cap and sign Oswalt. :thumbdown Points 3,4 consider that Ortiz is already signed beyond the amount of the contract.
