  1. How? Let other/s make what he was supposed to do. You need balls here. Leadership. But Fair enough... lets wait what our FO/BC/LL/LL-BC... do
  2. IDK E1, but that is not the point. My point is that we have everything to bounce back... but you need a good chief in command to bounce us back. Let's see if our actual FO is capable to do that.
  3. I do not care about the name because we do not really know who is running this team... I said BC since he is our GM and is supposed to manage our baseball operations... apparently he was/is a puppet... The important thing is that our FO (put the name you want) has been dysfunctional and horrible, say the last 4 years. IMO the cancer still there. I said that we had to clean up our FO in order to rebuild our team for real getting rid of LL and Co. and bringing a guy like Friedman. Didn't happen. Hopefully I'm wrong SCM...
  4. He could have brought SPs last season, and he didn't. ...but fair enough... lets wait... again!
  5. Other teams with a lot less resources have made brilliant seasons the last 4 years. I'm not sure why some people still defending this FO, I simply do not. We have a great fan base, resources, the stadium is always full and sold out, history, etc. what else a GM in Boston needs in order to succeed? what?
  6. oks, lets wait till 2016...:thumbdown
  7. You still need another proved OF. The last 3 are big ?. Sign Ross. On the other hand do not forget that our #1 priority are SPs. 2 SPs.
  8. Oks... from now, Ben has to perform as doctor operating an open heart situation. Not too many options out there but he has budget and some trade chips, so... time to show that he is a legit MLB GM.
  9. http://espn.go.com/boston/mlb/story/_/id/8635216/boston-red-sox-gm-team-one-larger-payrolls
  10. I do not want Iglesias in our line-up. He needs to learn discipline at bat first.
  11. IDK, do you? One thing is for sure, I prefer Ciriaco over him right now. IMO he is not ready to be an everyday player. His defense is not enough IMO in order to give him the spot.
  12. ...and I would sign Ross too... let Kalish be the 4th OF by now.
  13. Like this approach but two things. 1. I'm not sure that the Cubs would accept that trade. 2. I prefer Ciriaco over Iglesias any day. Guy can hit, steal, run and have pretty decent defense.
  14. All I hear around here is our talent this, our talent that. I remember the same old talk about Iglesias. Guy can't even hit. Do not take me wrong, I'm not against develop talent, but red sox fans need a contender team right away... too much pain already. Anyway... Toronto just got what we needed. 2 great pitchers, an all star SS and a terrific utility player in Bonifacio that could be your everyday OF, SS, 3B or 1B easily.
  15. I clearly remember that some posters said that this year (2012-2013 offseason), the deck of options at FA was going to be a lot much better than last offseason (2011-2012), and that we had to be patience because our FO had everything figured out SPECIALLY regarding our pitching and was no need to risk our future trading our great prospects... I was not agree but I said oks... let's see...... Now and a year later... the same old people still saying that we have to be patience because our great FO has everything figured out, because results will show up in 2015 or something.... I want to know what are they going to say if the same horrible story repeats again in 2015. You know what... ********! Ben, wake the f*** up and sign the f***' arms. Somebody say this guy that we have 4 years in a row without winning a f***ing PO game. 4!.
  16. This X 100!
  17. I wouldn't pay for a SS right now... nothing worthy is out there. You got Ciriaco anyway, who can be at least an average one with an interesting upside. Invest in pitching; 2 real SP, then get Ross, an OF and a 1B.This is all I ask this offseason.
  18. A pack of JJ, Buehrle, Reyes and Bonifacio would cost any team top prospects... you bet. I wouldn't ask less, would you?
  19. My first petition was to rebuild the FO, getting rid of BC and LL. . Bringing a guy like Friedman, we could have started all over again, for real. Didn't happen. The cancer still there. Hopefully I'm wrong SS.
  20. Yup, but real problem is not that... real problem is that Ben is paid to make things happen, and has not done the job (since last offseason)...ain't finish, but this is going to be up hill battle to build this team... a lot of holes to fill and he has not filled any and the market is getting complicated and expensive.
  21. True.... unless JH sales "high" now and let new investor/s put the money for the players they want... Hell, signs tell me that JH is not interested in this team anymore and the sale is imminent. We'll see.
  22. Well, seems that everybody knows that... problem is that our great FO is occupied in bringing managers and irrelevant players like 2nd-tier catchers.
