    Excuse my ignorance but what’s the difference between throwing off the mound and flat ground in terms of strength/healthy condition for a pitcher?

    Well if I recall well we have already beaten elite pitching — and have even destroyed some. Golito, DeGeom, Berrios, Ryu, etc. Manea is not an ace but is a solid 2-3. Geez he posted a no-no against us in 2018. This is the best offense in baseball. That’s a fact. We have faced all kind of pitching. This lineup deserves credit. There’s no reason to think they will choke.

    Thing is fans do not see what the FO and scouts saw in these guys. Richards is finally healthy and has legit stuff. Pivetta is healthy as well and has been performing great since wore a Red Sox uniform and it is not a small sample anymore. Rodríguez is healthy as well and do not forget that in 2019 was in the top 6 for the CY and this year has been solid. Perez ain’t an ace but he can post (has posted since last year) very solid No. 4 numbers. Also, according to reports Sale will likely come back and if he is 100% healthy this team will be a solid contender. If you ask me, I really really like our chances. Said that this is a very underrated team, and I like that.

    Having Santana, Kike, Duran and another combinations/options will be (are) in the conversation in the FO. Cordero is on the clock to go down, trust me.

    Chavis showing hunger, and not making the team starting the season has a lot to do with that. Good to see sane competition in every position.

    Yeah it is a mental mistake, just like other players made in this series, but talent is still there which is the most important thing in the long run. Cora has to speak with them and make emphasis in fundamentals.

    This last play, illustrates exactly what I said early. Luck and concentration haven’t been on our side.

    LOL geez guys we lose a couple games and we are just back to “reality”? This team will get nothing but better. We have very encouraging pieces down in the farm and still can trade as well in summer. This team will surprise a lot of people here an there. Save this post.

    This kid Bazardo is way better than half of the arms of the pen at least. Good to see we have options.

    IMO we just haven’t had luck in key moments. That’s it. Both games could have gone in our favor too. They didn’t. s*** happens. To put it in context, this same A’s team just lost a week a go a series vs f***ing Baltimore Orioles.

    If they don’t trust in Whitlock at this point we are lost. Valdez is even a better bet. You also have Ottavino. Renfroe goes yard btw lol
