Imagine this: 1. Anthony LF 2. Marte 2B 3. Bregman 3B 4. Contreras 1B 5. Abreu RF 6. Arias SS 7. Yoshida/Story/Duran DH 8. Narvaez C 9. Rafaela Mayer, Bello gone for Marte. Hamilton and Harrison still here. What stopped us for this? What? Money? Really? Balls? What?

They should have traded for Marte, kept Bregman and with Contreras this would have been a legit WS contender team.

You just can't win with 4 hits man. You just can't. The panic button officially needs to be pushed. 7 games under 500 and counting. Season is likely over folks.

Most teams have at the very least an A/A+ player at offense, mostly big market teams. Who is our A/A+ player? Who? Contreras comes to mind but he’s nothing but a solid B in my book. Who else? And I’m not talking about potential delusional BS.

Probably we have to accept these young guys are simply not as good as we thought, including Anthony. Probably they are just mediocre at best. Young guys cost you a dime but the future is uncertain since they haven’t proved anything yet. Look at Bello. He ended up being nothing but mediocre. Look at Casas. He probably won’t get a MLB job again. Mayer hasn’t shown signs he is a good hitter. Anthony probably is the most overrated prospect in the history. Campbell is in oblivion. Abreu is inconsistent as hell. Rafaela is mediocre at hitting. He’s not disciplined. Narvaez has regressed badly, and probably will never put his 2025 numbers again. Duran has mental issues which always gonna tax him. Story is closer than ever to retirement. He is not an everyday SS anymore. Masa was a scam. He’s an automatic groundout. Wong? Utility at best. IFK? Are you f kidding me? he’s literally clogging the farm. I could go on and on. Either they sell the team or blow it out and start over again. Heck even the White Sox look better moving forward. I firmly think we traded the wrong prospects. This is a cold shower of reality.

He should be playing more than a half of the actual lineup.

If this gets 10 games behind 500 heads must role, and it won’t matter if it’s still April.

IMO all these everyday rotations in the OF, IF and DH are taxing the team. We don’t have an everyday lineup. This platoon obsession by Cora and Breslow is hurting this team. Your titular team has to see lefties and righties. Period. Explain how Mayer is going to grow as a hitter putting IKF, who btw is a bum, when we face lefties. I simply don’t get it.

It’s getting beyond ridiculous

This is the worst offense I can remember this team put on the field in the last say 20 years.

This offense is putrid and I don’t see it improving any time soon. Probably it is just bad and never will. In the meantime, wonder why the hitting coach still has a job in this team. It’s beyond me.
