beckett is supposedly ready to begin a rehab assignment. i'm looking forward to seeing what this team can do with lester, buchholz and beckett and this kind of offense

see my above post about opening a cocounut in 2 minutes lol if you're doing it for the first time you have no idea where the seam is and unless you're hitting it right on the seam, it's not going to do anything

if you see someone youtube gently tapping the seam of a coconut, cracking it open in a couple minutes and telling you how easy it is to do, don't believe them. they've had lots and lots of practice

one day my girlfriend read something about the health benefits of eating coconut and decided she wanted to buy one at the store. so we got one at the grocery store and took it home. it took 30 seconds to poke out one of the eyes and get the milk. then it took us half an hour to try to find where the seam was, and try out different methods of trying to crack it until finally it just cracked and easily opened

the hard part is cracking open the shell. but all you have to do to get the milk out is poke out one of the holes in the shell. they're usually so easy to poke through you could do it with a stick

watching lackey round third was pretty funny. i'm glad it turned out better than when tito tried buchholz as a pinch runner

wow, this is unreal. i thought we were in trouble when we dropped the first game of the series and we were facing the best pitcher in baseball this year in the second game. hopefully lackey doesn't give the lead right back

the first pitch he saw in the majors was one of the most entertaining moments of the season so far. i think we'd better until he's faced major league pitching for some time before we decide what kind of a player he is though

i didn't think any al east teams were playing tonight but was pleasantly surprised to see this score when i went on mlb.com to check the schedule for tomorrow. a month ago, who would have guessed that we'd be tied for a playoff spot and within a game of the division already

i am really pleased with how this team has rounded into form. not exactly how the front office drew it up with lester, lackey and beckett and leading the charge. who would have guessed we'd have the best offense in baseball?
