    i agree, he probably will continue to kill down in aaa. but i wouldn't want to put the pressure on him of being the regular left fielder and i wouldn't want to stunt his growth by making him the backup hopefully we can sign mcdonald to fill that role

    the seattle radio guys just said that they believe he has announced to the team that he's going to leave for japan and end his career there

    ethier's been more of a 25 home run, 80 rbi guy the last 3 years i would consider him more of a complimentary bat like dustin pedroia or jd drew

    i never said that lowrie was a comparable player to ethier. i said that i wouldn't consider either one a middle of the order bat. big difference
