    The Brewers are offering a "timeless ticket." Pony up a grand and you get a bronze ticket engraved with your name, in a wooden display box which allows you "guaranteed" entry to ANY Brewers game in the future. Opening Day, World Series, it's all up for grabs. You also get nine vouchers for nine regular season games of your choice. So at $100/game you better hope the top tickets haven't sold out when you try to redeem, if you want to get any value out of it. Not to mention sinking $1,000 upfront and then, what, sitting on your ass for years waiting for the Brewers to make the Series? Pass.

    In the past you've had writers claim to have forgotten to vote for someone - that's grounds for revoking their privileges. But basically 90% on first ballot is all you can ask for. No one should complain about the ones that didn't vote.

    I'm taking a certain amount of perverse pleasure in the Edmonton train wreck. How low can they go? Can Todd Nelson pull them around, given the meager roster? Can either goaltender get his save percentage into the 900s? Is Derek Roy the savior? (doubtful).
