  1. Stupid contract. It's 12 years total with his current deal and new deal. CLutter f***. Can't wait to see Ellsbury getting $175M somewhere. And Lester getting $120M himself.
  2. that's seems to be only 25 man roster. the complete roster is 40. The minimum pay is 500K/or split for those guys not on the 25 roster.
  3. He's already throwing live BP and hitting 92MPH. Now whether he throw strikes is another thing.
  4. Baily is forever walking Mr. Brittle Bones. He isn't the long term solution to close. I wouldn't be shock to see him non tendered or traded next offseason. This ship has sail and the Sox will now have to find a long term closer who can be dependable. It could still be Bard.
  5. Hearing Ranaudo is healthy again, and he touch 97MPH.
  6. Reds nearing a extension with Votto. Could surpass fielders contract.
  7. Baily expected to have surgery. Likely July before he is back if so.
  8. This is the Red Sox, if Bard becomes a front starter, they'll gladly shell out $100+M to keep him.
  9. They won't reserve him for 1 inning exclusively.
  10. Who's the first batter a batshit insane Aceves is going to nail??
  11. Hey GUESS WHAT! Look like Bailey is injured. Didn't pitch as plan yesterday and the sun has risen and set 7 times since the last time he pitch.
  12. Well good they didn't sabotage Bard career. Bobby must be fuming being overruled over this.
  13. Everyone knew Doubront would be in the rotation. Nobody knows about Bard.
  14. https://twitter.com/#!/PeteAbe/statuses/186440517213618176 Bard could be back to the bullpen. They totally screwed him if so.
  15. Really like what I see out of Jacobs. Good bat speed and he hang it tough with long ABs.
  16. Clean hit for Coyle. Really like him.
  17. Bullpen looks awful. Bard or Aceves in the pen? Aceves is definitely the better value.
  18. Brentz heading for Portland.
  19. Bard kinda running on fumes by the 6th. But the stats thru 5 were 2H, 1BB/7K. Got a little cute in the 6th by walking a lead hitter. Can't be doing that. Throw in the 2run bloop single it's like throwing rocks in the mirror. Reports are he was 94-98 in the first 5, and 92-96 in the 6th. Cut down the walks and save the pitch count and we could get a really good starter that is expected to go 6-8 innings regularly. It was a very encouraging start today.
  20. Rangers sending Ogando back to the pen. Are they crazy?
  21. Aceves is valuable in the bullpen if there is a resemblance of a starting rotation.
