Pedroia can hit anywhere. He's the best hitter on this team. Nobody destroy a fastball like he does. He would be in an RBI spot. 3 or 4.

Time for bats to wake up. Papi with a few bombs this series, same with Gonzo. They both hits a bunch of fly balls to left on the road that would be homers at Fenway. Sweeney has look very good at the plate. Wouldn't mind him in a 2-hole vs a righty. He hits .299 vs RHP career.

Casey Kelly threw 6IP, 5H 0R 9K tonight in AAA. So far 13IP total in two outing and not a single walk/HR given up, all of this playing in launching pad Tucson. He should MLB bound mid season if he keeps performing like that.

Beside the changeup, can Bard be taught any other pitches? Adding a cutter that breaks like a hard slider? When he was drafted, a cutter was in his scouting report. As well as a curveball. A changeups are usually the last pitch to mastered for many.

Don't know how Youkilis can watch two meatball like that . Any pitcher that has him in a hole just need to throw a breaking ball. Rinse &Repeat.
