  1. The Yankees aren't going to have a Red Sox payroll dude. No chance we sign Cole or Stras. I think Chapman opts out and he's gone. QO to Chapman and Didi. Romine, Edwin, Gardner, Maybin, Gearrin are gone. Resign Dellin to a one year 4 million deal with extra 4 mill in strikeout bonuses. Try to find a taker for Happ, but no one will want him, so he's ours. C: Sanchez/Higgy 1B: Voit/Ford 2B: DJ SS: Torres 3B: Gio/Andujar UTL Estrada or Wade OF: Judge, Hicks, Fraizer Bench Tauchman DH: Stanton. Like you said already. SP Sevy German Paxton Tanaka Monty/Happ Britton Dellin Otto Kahnle Green Cessa Loaisiga
  2. Keys to ALCS are Sanchez hitting and Sevy pitching well. Now we wait to see if the Rays can somehow pull off an upset.
  3. Acevedo resigned with us. I hope they just plug him into the bullpen and let him open it out and see what he's got. I'm thinking Loaisiga will be in this game tonight and will lose his prospect status. When he gets bumped, I'd like to see one of Stowers or Sanford in the top 30.
  4. First let me say, f*** Ellsbury. Second, I can see them bringing Romine back. Hell it would only cost them 2.5 million most likely at most. We better sign Cole. I wonder if they offer didi arb
  5. http://m.mlb.com/prospects/2019?list=nyy Updated list, Garcia, Florial, and Dominguez make the top 100. Also its impressive that guys like Estrade, Wade, and Frazier are in triple-A. Adams, Otto, Diaz, Stowers, Sanford, Acevedo, jesus the talent depth is just insane right now.
  6. Braves DFA Gohara today, I'd love to see the Yankees take a flier on him. Shouldn't cost much.
  7. Astros made a hell of a deal today, but it was with the Jays. Sanchez moving to the bullpen could pay off. They still have a few guys in their minors who are intriguing. But good move on the Astros part. They have an opportunity to win a world series and they weren't afraid to go out there and made the moves.
  8. Voit is one of my favorite Yankees right now. I was thinking about buying a shirt of him. Tauchman has had an excellent July, but its a July. I hope he's legit... I just want to see it more.
  9. Surprised Otto didn't make the list. Hes got some stuff, but I haven't heard what type of injury he has. Dominguez is already ranked as the 61st best prospect in baseball by Fangraphs. Good system, but the problem is a lot of the guys are so young right now. You wouldn't have any of the 2019 draft guys in your top 20? and no Estrada?
  10. 1. Florial, guy could be a 5 tool prospect if his body matures. 2. Dominguez 3. Seigler, I'm in love with this guy right now. He's putting up solid numbers but I've been seeing rave reviews about his makeup and game calling. 4. Garcia 5. Gil 6. Clarke 7. Cabello 8. Green. High on him for sure, but he's putting up great numbers 9. Pereira 10. Whitlock I don't really count Loaisiga as a prospect anymore. I flipped on Estrada too and left him off. I'd have King and Breuax in my top 10 if they were healthy. Most liekly Sauer too. Stowers looks like a real good player. Watch out for Jake Sanford in this system. Volpe and Sikkema I'd have to see more of. Hopefully Josh Smith gets siged. Trade bait: Abreu, Adams, and Acevedo. I think Acevedo gets sent away in a Luke Voit type seal. Something like Acevdeo and Feyeisen for IFA money and a guy the Yankees scouting department likes.
  11. They have Jasson as the 61st best prospect in baseball as of today. WOW!!!
  12. Even though we won, wow that ump today was brutal to us. Our pitchers and hitters got squeezed and I'm never one to complain about the strike zone but jeeze.
  13. Assuming he doesnt get hammered, which he might... I can see two innings from him. Cessa for 3. Then go from there.
  14. Chance Adams deserves a look. I saw Bumgarner to the Twins might be close. I doubt the Nats trade Max unless they are blown away, I.E. something like Fraizer, German, Garcia, a 4th prospect, and a bullpen piece like Holder.
  15. Have you heard any updates on Schmidt or King? The system is solid right now. Gil is having an excellent year.
  16. When Didi comes back I guess we DFA Morales. When Judge and Stanton come back and everyone is still hopefully healthy, Fraizer gets sent down and Maybin... could be a nice trade chip. Some team like the Phillies or Rockies could use him or even back to the Guardians for a lotto pick similar to what we gave up for McCutchen last year.
  17. Day 1 im really meh on. Esp if Volpe wants more than slot. If he gets 3 million, hell might as well of draft Leiter for 4 and went for a more cheaper 2nd rounder. Sikkema sounds interesting, but not at 1Sup picl. Sanford's father posts on NYYFans so it was great to see them pick him. He looks like our best pick for value. Day 3 should bring some gems, we have money to work with go out and get some guys./
  18. Judge would be a nice addition to get back soon, but I think we should be in the market for a 1B. When Didi comes back in what July? You could play DJ there, but Morales hasn't done anything. Hopefully we can find a lightning in the bottle type player to plug in there.
  19. Boone manages the bullpen very well. Granted we have a stacked bullpen. Everyone's innings are pretty similar right now, i know its april7th. The only thing I hated was Tauchman. I know thats a Cashman move, and I love Cashman... at the same time why would we go with him over Clint? Did Clint sleep with someone's wife or daughter? I don't understand why a lot of people dislike him. Cause he thinks hes good and wanted to wear 7? LOL GTFO. Clint is still young and I think he is going to play a big role in the Yankees from now on out. When Hicks comes back you can not start Gardner on a regular schedule. I also love Gardner, and I understand why he's back. You need a veteran around to help all these young guys.
  20. I thought we weren't allowed to call disabled people disabled anymore? I don't know why they would change it either.
  21. Who are you looking forward to following this year? Anyone have their own top prospects list? I'm looking forward to seeing a healthy Schmidt, if Whitlock can sustain that level of success (Not saying he'll be an ace), and if Peteira can take that step into top prospect status. My prediction is Loaisiga, Abreu, and Acevedo are traded this year. Every one is high on Garcia too, but I will say Medina shines again in 2019. We may not have a top system anymore, but we have a lot of guys who can take a step forward and make us a top 10 system by the end of the year. I'm excited having two first round picks. Hopefully Cashman can keep working his magic by tradeing for more IFA money. I think Cessa could be worth a million of that to someone like the O's or M's.
  22. Tulo, DJ, Ottavino, and Britton are already on the team.... We traded for Paxton months ago too.
  23. Andujar, Gray, and Holder for Gore, Paddack, Quantrill, Edwards, and IFA bonus cash. Sign Machado 8/200 Minor league free agents Nick Hudley Doug Fister or Chris Tillman Rotation Severino/Paxton/Tanaka/Happ/CC C: Sanchez 1B: Bird/Voit 2B: Torres SS: Tulo 3B: Manny RF: Judge CF: Hicks LF: Gardner/Stanton DH: Stanton Bench: DJ, Romine, Bird/Voit, and Ellsbury I guess. Bullpen Chapman - Closer Dellin - RH set up Britton - LH set up Ottavino - 7th inning Green - 7th inning Kahnle German or Cessa
  24. Britton 3 years with a vesting option would be my limit, no to 4 years. If the Red Sox or Phillies want him for that then see ya. I honestly don't think our bullpen is that bad right now, but I feel Dellin will have an amazing free agent contract year and Kahlne will bounce back.
  25. yeah jeet yeah
