A-Rod had his best season in 2007, when he was clearly off steroids. He certainly didn't need them to be great.

Well I'm sure they'll win the Wild Card to make the playoffs, but this team isn't built good enough to beat the Red Sox in a 7 game series. I have a feeling they'll make a big splash too.

Now that Jeter is closing in on reaching 3,000 it seems like a good time to track his progress. My guess is he'll reach it sometime during the Rangers series next week, would be nice for him to get it at Yankees stadium. 10 hits to go
