I wouldn't consider it unrealistic, Yankees certainly have the money to afford him, and as A Rod continues to age it would be smart to move him over to DH. Yeah its true, it was a 23 year old kid who sells cell phones for a living too, he probably could have used the money. The Yankees hooked him up with tickets to the best seats for the rest of the season though and gave him a bunch of autographed stuff.
