It would've been nice to see him play one more season though to reach 1000 Receptions and 15,000 yards. A few weeks ago his agent was claiming he was in "freakish shape" and had a "huge chip on is shoulder" Patriots were willing bring him back on a 1 year deal but he turned it down because he insisted on a multi-year one. Same with Jets, they weren't willing to give him a multi-year deal so they signed Burress instead. Maybe he'll pull a Brett Favre so he can skip training camp.

One last thing though... Look at John Elway. Career QB Rating – 79.9 Career Passing % – 56.9 Why is it, that with these kind of stats, Elway is considered a god in Denver, in the Hall of Fame, and is widely respected as one of the greats by all NFL fans? Stats mean little. How you play with the game on the line, how you play when the pressure is on means everything. Winning football games is everything.

Sorry I wasn't implying he was All-Star status QB, I think he's average quarterback that has been pretty good in the playoffs. Unless you are indeed psychic, I don't know how you can say a second year QB will be this or that. As Thunder stated, he did improve a considerable amount from his rookie season. Btw Peyton has had Reggie Wayne for most of his career
