    Question: Do they offer Ells the money they gave Crawford? Answer: f*** no! Problem(s): Too many to list but for starters- Boras will demand at least that much (he loves to give it to Henry hard) Ellsbury is a very talented young ball player but when is the last time you have seen a player that young and that talented hung up on the DL so frequently as well as having such frequent stretches of performing below his talent level. I would hate to see him go elsewhere but Boras is the ultimate dick head when it comes to burning us. If Ells doesn't have enough self respect that he allows himself to go to new york then so be it, let Boras rape them instead of us, no one else is gonna pay what they are going to ask for.

    Henry is gonna take control. BV is out! He will now take Ben's seat and BV will be the new GM. Or at least that appears to be the logic that they follow in recent years. I could be wrong though, maybe BV is going to the bullpen and Ben is gonna DH until Papi recovers from is annual case of "Straighten out next years contract before the season ends - itis".

    Wow. I think the team just effectively said "you don't scare us Mr. Henry, we'll put up one run and take the rest of Memorial Day off."

    I disagree, you can build anything with enough money for the materials. The problem is when you waste the money on s***, build a giant expensive pile of s*** and then continue to repeat the process.

    I feel bad for Pedroia but it's nice to see at least see one guy working out there. Hopefully they start to surround him with some guys cut from the same cloth.

    I strongly agree with this. Too many people think we are one pitcher away from competing. What's worse is the mentality that we can re arrange the junk in the junkyard, add a big dollar, big bat used to be and we are there. You can't polish a turd.

    Why doesn't the FO just give us something to show us that they are still in charge? I mean being that the team wide mutiny continues and the "team" has now extended their September work strike into August, give the fans something like announcing that you DFA'd Cook or maybe pull a Willie Randolph on Aceves and leave his sorry ass out in California? What has the organization left that's worth taking the time off of our hard working, normal paying stressful lives to look forward to til next year? These asshats on the field obviously couldn't care less about crapping on the fans every day now (except for Pedroia).

    Hell, I said in April that this was a .500 team at best. I was crucified for it and after finally being told to shut up or get lost I have done my best to be optimistic until I snapped last night. I'm done ranting but I have to say that watching folks who have been fans for 50 years tell fans that have been fans for "only" 30 years that they aren't entitled to call a spade a spade is frustrating to say the least. To question their fandom is just criminally stupid. Listen, wether you have been a fan for 2 years or 70 years you are a fan. This sucks for each and every one of us. And we can all be happy that the mega trade gives us a chance for a clean slate just as we were all happy to see 2 championships. So what if some fans suffered for 40 years before seeing the 2 WS wins while some got to see them after being fans for less than a decade? Got battle scars? Sorry about that. Can we just move on now?

    I was right there with you. I also am really questioning V's motives right now too. His mismanagement makes me wonder how much of it is just spitefully sticking it to the higher ups at this point. He makes mishandling a bullpen look like an art form for God's sake.

    How do you answer the allmighty A's 20 run assault? Ask the 2012 Red Sox imposters... with a mighty 2 run attack headed up by the power hitting Mike Aviles as DH again. f*** it, might as well get DMac back and try again with that logic. Who is this team kidding?

    And how supposed baseball people in the FO can't see that despite he gets hot with a bat for three weeks a season, Salty is f***ing a f***ing horrible catcher tells me that they need to blow the FO sky high as well.

    I don't want to hear the crap about reconfiguring this piece of s*** pitcher to this role and Aviles as next years SS and Morales as a number two next year and Lackey maybe and possibly give an extension to DiceK next season because he pitched a good game for once in 4 years... We know what having these pieces amounts too. You're watching it right now. Bleh.. Blow this pile of crap of the earth, it is an insult to baseball.

    I have been watching the night games for the last few days but not posting cause there isn't anything good to say but I have reached my limit right now. This team is a f***ing disgrace to the uniforms they wear. f***ing shitcan as many of them as you can right now and burn their jerseys. How the f*** Henry and co. can sit there and insult our intelligence by keeping garbage like Melancon and Cook and Aceves as a closer and still not realize that the fan base is tired of having smoke blown up their ass is beyond me. If your'e new love is soccer or whatever the f*** have you Mr. Henry, please sell the team asap so we can enjoy our passion again.

    I have hope for next season. What I hope for for the rest of this season is to get a good look at some of the kids, see more of the dead wood trimmed of of the team and of course enjoy the premature flame out of the skanks in the post season.
