    Ive heard Vernon Wells' name thrown around lately, I say NO! I think we need to move on on past their prime players for awhile. Wells is the kind of guy you take a chance on when you are in much much better shape than we are in.

    Yeah, I'm at the point where I wait for that to happen before I dwell on it. Besides, if we play well and the Halos win anyway, possibly makes life harder on the yankoffs.

    Exactly. I can attest that sometimes emotions get the best of us and we say things that we would never dream of saying to each other if we were in a bar having a drink and watching a game. I don't think anything good will come of this thread. Someone should start a thread we can all get behind like a "Countdown to the demise of the 2012 yankees thread" for example.

    Ugghh.. listen to the pink hats cheer cause Gonzales put an attempt on that out. Sometimes I think after hearing some cheers like that, Henry turns off his radio, smiles and goes to sleep counting 100 dollar bills jumping over a fence.

    I have to imagine that pre-season ticket sales next year are going to take a hit unless prices drop drastically. I would really feel better if Henry would make a public statement declaring his awareness of this team wide mutiny with a promise to truly attempt to right the ship. I'm dreaming right?

    I hope no matter how optimistic some of you are that you have braced youselves for this September, I don't know any of you personally but I know how Sox fans can get. It's gonna be okay folks, this current team has forced ownerships hand or at least will by October 1st. Next year will be better, it has to be.

    I think the game threads are empty cause people just don't know what to say anymore. I mean September 2011 has gone on for six months now and I think most of us can admit that the buildup to last September had been showing bad signs for a LONG time before it happened. I really hope this team purges itself properly this off season but I have lost a lot of faith in their ability to see beyond the money pouring in from the pink hats.
