    If they do get this in I want to see DiceK reach back to 2007 and just throw nothing but his world famous "gyroball" or one of the other 20 or so magical pitches Theo told us about. Truth is he will probably just make the Jays look like they are competing in a walk-a-thon but just think, another start or two from this klown and the DiceK era will be over! Hey Theo, guess what you're getting for Christmas? Can you say "Japan's national treasure"?

    I agree that they should avoid Hamilton like the plague but it wouldn't hurt to start courting a few top of the rotation pitchers soon. Even if there was an ace who suddenly became obtainable and wanted market value this offseason. If we have to build a contender over the next few years using ONLY the pieces we have now then there won't be much good baseball to watch for the next few seasons. I agree with 700 that we should let Morales, Doubrant and Lackey fight it out for #5 and I say we give Bucky and Lester one more season to see if they can regain what they once had. Other than that, clean f***ing house and collect high end pitching prospects.

    I'm 5 minutes south of Mass and I'm about ready to start building an ark. I would imagine that God has seen enough of our heroes for awhile and will piss this game out. Sunday doubleheader anyone?

    I don't think that with 20 something games left and the mutiny getting worse by the day that Valentine is going anywhere. They just have to grind it out now. No one wants to look any worse than they already do right now except everyone on the field (except Pedroia) I would still like to hear somebody in the FO just own up to this mess instead of dancing around the subject as though we were all idiots.

    That's more realistic. Count on Morales and Doubrant as a #4 and #5 next year and see if they can handle it. We need some new talent evaluation and conditioning staff and a new manager and GM wouldn't hurt either.
