Rotation needs a huge boost. Buch will be back next year, but that gives us 3 solid options. Lackey can't be counted on for anything after this year, though, I do think he's got it in him to return to form, maybe not with us. Any aces on the free agent market this offseason? Catcher needs to be addressed too, I don't want to be saddled with Tek and Salty again, because Salty can't be counted on to hit for .900 OPS for 3 months out of every season.

I'm completely shocked still, I just can't believe how we were pretty much on our way. There was no way to complete this epic collapse other than to have the Rays come back from down 7 and Papelbon to blow a save. It was like everything had to go completely f***ing wrong, just like this month, to complete this. Nothing else can describe the collapse but simply epic. This was the biggest regular season collapse in history.

LOL. Speed is one of the things that doesn't deteriorate as quickly. Power is what deteriorates rapidly in your 30s. How do you see this as just the start of him getting worse? The dude has been a stud for the last 5 years pretty much. He doesn't have any loss in speed. I'm pretty sure he'll be back to form next year, and you two will be eating humble pie. Crawford has had one f***ing godawful year, I'll give you that, but this is not the sign of things to come, he will be back next year.
