  1. Where's Reck at?
  2. Wonder who it could be! In all seriousness, I really don't like to see Salty out there, I'm not really sold on that hot streak happening every year.
  3. Again, not buying it really, if Buehrle is the type of guy who gets undervalued by FIP, how's his WAR been so good over his career? I don't see how you can say WAR is not a good measure of value, when it's easily the best metric available atm.
  4. That would be from facing the Red Sox.
  5. I'm not buying, sorry. Lackey was definitely worth a 4.1 WAR in 2010. I'd like to see how it overvalues IP. FIP is a very good statistic, better than the ones you're judging him by, like ERA, BB/9 or WHIP.
  6. I know he is, but the AL Central is not the AL East. Either way, he's a guy who will give you 200 innings every year, and he's good for a mid-upper 3s ERA, maybe low 4s on a off year. He's essentially been at the same stats his entire career, and IMO, he could definitely be an effective pitcher into his late 30s.
  7. That's not how it works though. This is why WAR>>>>ERA.
  8. Incorrect, any pitcher is going to have inflated ERA when they go to Boston, league change, etc. You can't just pay a pitcher less money because you suspect their ERA will go up. The only time it's a loss in value is when said pitcher doesn't make the transition to a new league, which is entirely possible. An increase of .2 or .3 doesn't effect value. There are ballpark adjusted stats for this.
  9. Eh, still the same value, just inflated for league change, etc.
  10. Tito, you mean?
  11. Over, just because I don't think they intentionally walk him every time up.
  12. Took you that long to find a bad macro? Keep burying yourself.
  13. Any thoughts you might have that you've actually won this are of your own delusions, the best part of you rolled down your mother's leg.
  14. There's no sense of fail here sir, I'm just bored from lack of challenge from your end. It doesn't matter what 4chan macro that you stole from Know Your Meme .com flies out from your keyboard, you still lost to a bitch in a baseball discussion, and your material for lulz-making is still flat.
  15. It isn't logical. You're trying to make into something logical, even though you're going out on a limb.
  16. See, no material and a bunch of somewhat glorified "no you are" type responses. You're not very bright, are you?
  17. They're not going to add another DH player dude, they would be absolutely retarded to do that.
  18. Awwwww, did I crumble the fabric of your shallow cyber existence by showing you up in a baseball discussion? It's okay, I'll stop, as I am growing bored with your childlike antics, and material staler than the coke-infused ******** that Robin Williams has been spewing for the last 30 years.
  19. I got your point, it wasn't lost in your East Coastanese it's just a stupid argument. Your argument has zilch rationale behind it. You're pretty much just saying "I got a feelin'", but you're too argumentative yourself to admit that you're just going out on a limb. You want to split hairs because a couple of people called you out on it.
  20. Silly, that's about all there is worth saying about it.
  21. Can you elaborate on how this is, well, logical at all. Or something. Because as it stands, you've got no substantiation to why the Cards are "too hot". When there's evidence brought to light that says teams that were smoking hot coming into the WS have lost before, you just disregard it. This is just textbook nonsense. You could just say you're going out on a limb, but don't lie and try to make it sound rational.
  22. That's not extremely subjective at all.
  23. So were the 2007 Rockies, just sayin'.
