I really don't see how you can put forth a Jordan vs. Kobe argument, when Lebron James is the best player in basketball right now. Kobe statistically falls quite a bit short of Jordan, just a quick comparison of their statistics
Jordan averaged 30.1 ppg in his career, Kobe Bryant, who is known for his scoring, averages 25.1 (Actually Bryant used to average more, but it's gone down). Jordan has also averaged 33.4 ppg in the playoffs to Bryant's 25.
In fact, statistically, Jordan defeats Bryant in just about every major category, including assists per game (Jordan 5.3, Kobe 4.6) steals per game (Jordan 2.35, Kobe 1.5), rebounds per game (Jordan 6.2, Kobe 5.3) and FG% (Jordan 49.7% to Kobe's 45.5%), all by fairly significant margins. Also, Kobe's edge on Jordan in 3's, a very small statistic to begin with, is very low (Kobe 34.1% to Jordan's 32.7%). I don't think Kobe is really anywhere close to Jordan, I think he's a top 5 all time player possibly, but mostly everyone's distant from Jordan in basketball, and the next person who has a chance to pass him up or come close is Lebron, but he has a long ways to go as well.
Not to mention, for one, a championship is a team accomplishment, and even if those are what makes Kobe in the same league as Jordan, he's still two short, so that argument hasn't been fulfilled yet either
Also, my final point, I wouldn't say the Lakers win it all this year just yet, the Celtics did some gearing up as well, so I wouldn't say Kobe has this year's title on lock either
