  1. Wow, this is terrible. I hope the best outcome for him.
  2. Vernon Davis is OBVIOUSLY a lard ass.
  3. Then aren't, by those standards, a lot of athletes overweight?
  4. I find Antrel Rolle to be immensely overrated though. He's really not nearly as good as many hyped him up to be, the teams who wanted him so badly, like Dolphins fans.
  5. This same person's made like two other accounts before, pulling the same thing.
  6. Welcome back. Glad that you could be back early.
  7. Lol spammer.
  8. Dude, you don't know more than the organization does about the issue. It's probably something that will hinder him throughout the remainder of his career, pretty significantly.
  9. Yeah but talent doesn't mean anything. Basketball is one of the few sports where chemistry has a massive, massive impact. A couple bad apples on a team full of incredible talent can lead to a horrendous season. I think the Nets might have more potential, but a better team is completely debatable.
  10. I really wanted the Twins to push for Lowell to play 3rd. What we have is a bunch of crap. JJ Hardy is a wizard in the field who could mask his bad defense pretty well.
  11. See Greg Maddox vs. Pedro Martinez. Two of the greatest pitchers of all time. Pedro had a few years that are possibly, if not probably, the best three years, maybe four, that a pitcher's ever had. Maddox was a command guy who could stay at about the low 90's, and topped out at about 91. He aged much better than Pedro did, he was completely dominant through the 90's and early 2000's. Power pitching erodes faster than finesse, command pitching.
  12. It can make a difference, but I think that's probably about the only thing Beckett really has going for him over Lee in my opinion.
  13. Honestly? It's close to a wash, but with a healthy Gilbert Arenas, who can carry that team to a win by himself when in top form, they're definitely better than the Nets. I have to give the Wizards the edge based off of the records alone though. Not often you can look at a team and say: "they're gonna come close to winning under 10 games this year".
  14. How does one of, if not the best pitcher in baseball have a break out season? Especially when he's been in that form for nearly a decade now.
  15. He's retardedly good.
  16. I'll take Lee over Beckett too, and I don't know how you can't be sold on Lee, he's proven himself to be a top-notch pitcher the past two seasons, one of which he was practically unbeatable, and the other he showed he was capable of pitching well in the postseason. He out-pitched CC, when I recall practically everyone on this site said that CC was "vastly" superior. (This even though Lee put up as good, or better numbers in the AL than CC did)
  17. Historically, Chan ho Park has been a bad pitcher though, and stats back that up. I don't think 50 superb innings is going to change people's minds IMO.
  18. Yes, please.
