  1. I think Wade is arguable for after Kobe as well, Lebron James is just the obvious choice for the best player in basketball, to me it's a no-brainer. I don't think his attitude should change that.
  2. But you're blowing him up to be better than Lebron, when Lebron has done everything that Durant has done. You're dismissing Lebron based on his attitude more than anything. He is the best player, he gets rebounds, he can pass, he can play tough defense, and he obviously is one of the best offensive players, and imo, the best offensive player in basketball. Lebron James is the only person in the NBA who is ever compared to Michael Jordan, and that's for a reason. He's the real deal. He takes his team on his back, and he's made it to the NBA Finals with a pretty awful supporting cast before.
  3. Durant is a Chris Bosh who has fancier moves. Hell, at least Chris Bosh can box out, and grab some rebounds. I remember bashing Bosh's offense, but Bosh has a higher FG%, only averages about minimally lower PPG than Durant, and grabs 10 boards every year too. Lebron James grabs MORE REBOUNDS than Kevin Durant does. Lebron James shoots for a higher percentage, and has been doing what Durant has been doing offensively for the past 5 years. You talk about Durant doing all this before the age of 22, Lebron did EVEN BETTER than Durant did before the age of 22. Offensively, and defensively, Lebron is better. Both men have weak supporting casts, but Lebron is definitely better than Durant.
  4. Durant only scores, he doesn't play defense, something you knocked Lebron for, who plays pretty damn good defense. Also, you can't just have roleplayers on a team. You could have a team full of good rollplayers, and they'll finish with a sub-.500 record if you don't have a couple of go-to guys. Lebron is the only one on Cleveland. Shaq is no longer a go-to guy, Jamison is no longer a go-to guy. Think about it, Kobe has Pao Gasol, Ron Artest, used to have Shaq, etc. His team is LOADED. If you think that Cleveland's supporting cast for Lebron compares to that, then I don't know what to tell you. If Lebron is with the team that Kobe has, or if Kobe/Durant have Lebron's team, Lebron's a NBA Champion this year, and Kobe/Durant are barely making it into the playoffs. Lebron James IS the Cavs.
  5. Lebron has a good supporting cast? Maybe if Jamison and Shaq are in their primes. Not now, he was working with scrubs. Lebron isn't a cry baby either, he plays hard and he doesn't get hurt every time he's touched, as you say. Durant better than James is just just silly.
  6. I am now bald. But we won, I think the neighbors could hear me when Kubel hit the jack. Awesome!
  7. He's too sexy for this site
  8. Gardenhire will remove his Twins jersey after tonight's 13 inning walk-off loss to reveal his Yankee pinstripes.
  9. Bingo. I like Miami as well as one of my Lebron destinations.
  10. Miami isn't super small either, if it was all about money, he'd go New York, end of discussion. If he wants to win, he'll choose to play where Bosh or Wade plays. Like I said, Miami isn't small, it's a big market, and if Wade stays there, I could certainly see them making a run at Lebron.
  11. He's back from suckitude, that's all I know.
  12. I believe that was noted in a bit of sarcasm at the end
  13. Even Wade and Lebron could fall of they don't have their supporting cast. I'm not sold that Wade and Lebron, possibly the two best players in the NBA, would beat the Lakers if they had all scrubs on their team. Plus who knows if Wade can handle second fiddle. Pippen didn't, but they also had Rodman, Grant, etc. It wasn't just two guys and a bunch of scrubs. It was a team with two giants who gelled together. Basketball is a game that can have talent ruined by chemistry.
  14. It makes no sense. Jordan stayed with the team he was drafted by, I've never heard anyone say Lebron to Bulls, but I am pretty sure I would like the Cavs to keep, but they must get another big name. Lot of Bosh/Wade and Lebron talk.
  15. The last I checked the Championship is a team accomplishment. Lebron is the statistical giant of the NBA right now in a Jordanesque manner. He's easily the best.
  16. I think that was Lebron's last game with the Cavs. I don't think he's stupid enough to stick with a team that will continue to make him carry the entire load. That's unless they get one of the big names, even Jordan needed Pippen (and others) to be what he became. Jordan didn't win his first title until he was getting close to 30 though.
  17. LT is arguably the greatest defensive player of all time, and its a shame his life is so messed up. But yeah, this didn't turn out to be him being a disgusting human being like I thought.
  18. Yeah, I personally tend to react quickly and a bit irrationally when it comes to things like this. And yeah, looks pretty bad for the pimp, I'm guessing he's not as scary as LT, so I'm thinking the pun works out perfectly.
  19. This threads like a month old lol
  20. This is why I said I shouldn't judge so quickly, but he's still an idiot.
  21. Don't be such a hypocrite
