It's a stupid short-term deal. Very. I just don't see why the Pats would do it. I'm more shocked than filled with joy about this. Why would you trade one of the best receivers in the NFL away for absolutely nothing? But yeah, Moss, Rice, Harvin, Shiancoe and Peterson sounds really, really nice right now.

The Vikings are reportedly in talks with Moss for a new contract. Moss said earlier this season he wanted a new contract, which is why this deal went through. Or at least part of the reason.

It sounds like they just get 1 pick, 3rd rounder. Moss wanted out of New England, so the Vikings got him for cheap.
