  1. I'll get to see CC pitch. I can't remember the last time I saw him.
  2. RBI single for Matsui, Swisher just struck out to end the inning. 1-0 Yanks, Minnesota's coming up for the first time.
  3. Bates is a lot better defensively than I thought. I think I confused the scouting report on him with Chris Carter.
  4. 25 year old catcher with a career line of .274/.338/.390 (going back to age 23). He seems solid defensively. Looks like a pretty good player to me.
  5. Not bad for a catcher.
  6. This board is ridiculous.
  7. You know you're gonna have a good game when the V-Tek kicks in.
  8. I thought that might get your spidey sense tingling :harhar:
  9. It's more of a joke than anything. Dojji has been asking for us to trade for Teahan multiple times a day since I joined this board. So it's become an ongoing joke that Teahan must be the greatest player ever given how many times Dojji has raved about him. Personally, I think Teahen sucks. But that's just me.
  10. "We've gotta make him pay!" -Eckersley What is this, the Sopranos?
  11. Tea-haaaaaaaaaaaan!
  12. Drew sucks. When are we gonna trade this guy?
  13. Maybe I'm way off on this one, but I think Bates kind of looks like Elvis. EDIT: http://ickmusic.com/pics/artist/elvis1.jpg http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/images/2008/03/26/WrZzsCEe.jpg
  14. Hello lead! I've missed you.
  15. Now this is more what I expected against a guy with an ERA in the 7's.
  16. That's better! Way to make Canada proud Bay. Make that 3-4 with 2 HR in his career against Eveland.
  17. He looked safe to me in real time, but that was a GREAT stretch by Bates. Looked like Youk out there.
  18. Yeah, I still can't believe he gave up a home run. I honestly can't remember a time where I saw a pitcher throw mid-90's heat up out of the zone only to have the hitter deposit it in the stands. It's not like it was down the middle either, it was on the inside corner of the plate.
  19. No. That was 96 mph up out of the strike zone and in on his hands. I have no idea how he pulled his hands in enough to get to it.
