Last year's first round draft pick Casey Kelly just made his last start of the season. He went 6 innings, giving up 6 hits, 1 run and 1 walk while striking out 5. I believe his ERA on the year is under 2.00 now.
He'll play the rest of the year as a shortstop (his preferred position).
I haven't been to a gym since high school. That's the most boring way to work out I could imagine. I do a lot of hiking/walking places though. I also do some running/riding my bike and some push ups/crunches when the Red Sox have a bad loss.
Yankees have been pretty lucky this inning. An infield single to move the runner to third, a sac fly, another infield single and now a broken bat dribbler that gets through the infield to plate another run.
They're up 3-0.
Kennedy hit a decent pitch. I'd say Beckett got screwed over on the 2 runs scored against him but that's Beckett's own damn fault for walking the number 9 hitter. Still, he made a nice rebound.
He was also a shortstop, and there were some major concerns about his defensive ability at that position. But the Red Sox, being the evil geniuses they are, moved him to second (imagine that!) and now he's a gold glover.
