Yup. I have no idea how he will perform going forward but I would be willing to gamble 3/48-3/50 for him. I don't know how his daughter is doing and what her prognosis is. If her Doctors indicate that she is out of the woods medically then maybe Kimbrel has no reservations about uprooting his familly to another city for the next few years and the remainder of his career. However, if his daughter will require care for the next few years I would think that Kimbrel would consider staying put in Boston and possibly at a reduced rate from what you guys project for him.

And I am cool with that. As long as the bone head plays are kept at a minimum. I love 1st-3rd or 1st-home. I like watching athletic plays on both sides of the ball.

Swihart played shortstop exclusively in high school. He played catcher about twice in all star type games at the request of MLB scouts. My sources are pretty solid on this.

No reason that they can't keep winning while getting things in line for the playoffs. Slumping into the playoffs would not be a healthy sign.

Devers is a no-go for the playoff roster in my opinion. You can not throw the ball into the outfield in a playoff game.

Absolutely. I doubt that anything the Chollo says will dissuade Cash from signing him. I just think it is stupid and in bad taste for the idiot to be saying such things. Do you believe that the Yankees will grab both Machollo and the punk in Washington?

He has. Still, I like the guy. I am not giving up on him. We do need him to pitch in the rotation until we get our starters back. By that I mean Price and Sale. Glad to see ERod look so good in his 1st game back.
